Holiday Inn - Joliet

Preregistration with code: $62.50; $125 at the door

Illinois Concealed Carry does not have reciprocity though a few states will honor our permit. If you travel you will still want to have one of the non-resident concealed carry permits covered by this eight-hour seminar. It is the most comprehensive we've seen on use of lethal force for civilian self defense. It covers everything you need to know to protect you and your family with a concealed carry firearm or against a home invasion. This seminar qualifies you for Utah and Arizona non-resident concealed carry permits recognized in about 30 states. It also qualifies for Florida with an optional shooting proficiency demonstration.

Topics include:

Illinois law on use of deadly force

The one grip that works for all handguns

Mitigating criminal prosecution & civil liability

Autonomic nervous system & high stress performance

Home invasion and setting up a safe room in your home

Marksmanship fundamentals for close quarter shooting

Situational awareness & dealing with sociopathic behavior

Firearm transportation in Illinois, Interstate under Federal law, and on airlines

Evaluating ammunition caliber/bullet type for concealed carry & home invasion
