Editorial: Take Back America
David A. Lombardo
When are we going to take back America? When are we going to be fed up with the incessant stream of liberal misinformation designed to reshape the American psyche?
The messiah, his Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse - the lawless firm of Bloomberg, Biden, Feinstein and Schumer - Chicago's Mayor Emanuel, and all the rest know damn well AR-15s account for an infinitesimal percentage of gun violence in this country but eradicating the AR-15 is their reason d'etre for the year.
The point is liberals will simply lie to further their agenda; facts be damned. Even worse, they incessantly attempt to insinuate their dogma into our collective consciousness. You think this is much ado about nothing; think again.
Take Sandy Hook, for instance. Immediately the White House took it up as a cause celebre to eliminate those nasty assault weapons that killed all those children. How embarrassing when the autopsy reports indicated they weren't involved. No problem; just lie about it.
Most recently we have the terrorist attack of the Boston Marathon. At the onset, the messiah went on television and flat out refused to call it an act of terrorism. What in God's name would setting off two bombs at a marathon be other than an act of terrorism?
Worse, he said he would find out who was responsible and why they did it. Why they did it? Does anyone with moral compass points sharper than a butter knife even remotely care? They did it because they're homicidal psychotics. They should have been caught and immediately strung up from a street light though the fact that the first moron was shot so many times the coroner couldn't count the bullet holes does have a certain amount of appeal.
In the aftermath, after the Muslim extremist brothers were dead or captured, Chicago Tribune columnist Rex Huppke condemned conspiracy mongers who blogged the bombing was perpetrated by the government to further justify curbing civil liberties. Hey, I don't have a problem with calling out loose wing-nuts on either side of the aisle but Huppke missed a couple; all of whom are radical liberals.
The smoke hadn't cleared in Boston before the liberal propaganda machine went into overdrive. Chris Mathews of MSNBC said, "Domestic terrorists tend to be on the far right." Lawrence O'Donnell, another MSNBC propagandist, said, "The NRA is helping the Boston marathon bombers get away."
Michael Moore publically alleged the Tea Party was behind the bombing and equally irrelevant actor Jay Mohr blamed it on the gun culture and said, "The second amendment must go." While CNN analyst Peter Bergen announced "Right wing extremists are to blame for the explosions" the most telling pronouncement of all came from David Sirota of Salon.com. He wrote, "Let's hope the Boston marathon bomber is a white American." Well boys and girls, that's it in a nutshell; anything to further the agenda even when it's a lie.
Admittedly, these fools are the detritus of truth but the media lets them fill dead air and white space and that lets them reshape the American consciousness.
And then there's Great Britain's gift to America - Piers Morgan. Morgan, a particularly annoying, whining commentator, threatened to "deport" himself if the United States did not dramatically change its gun laws. Excuse me Piers baby, the messiah lost the assault weapon and large capacity magazine ban wars so shouldn't you be booking a flight to the Mother country? He's oddly silent about his promise which once more proves liberals have plenty of mouth and little spine. So I ask the question again: When are we going to take back America?

Supreme Court declines
to hear gun right case
The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to weigh in on the issue of whether or not citizens have a constitutional right to carry a handgun outside of their home for personal protection. Anti-Second Amendment advocates cite the decision as a chink in the armor of a recent ruling in Illinois that an existing law that bars concealed carry is unconstitutional. The SCOTUS decision was to not hear Kachalsky v. Cacace, U.S. Supreme Court, No. 12-845, a challenge to the New York law that requires an applicant to have a specific reason to be granted a license. The petitioners challenged the law saying the Second Amendment right to bear arms does not limit citizens to personal protection in the home. The National Rifle Association urged the justices to hear the case stating that letting the New York law stand was a "de facto ban on carrying a handgun outside the home." The justices did not cite a reason for taking a pass but it is expected that numerous cases pressing the point will find their way to the court this year. This denial does not preclude the justices from hearing a similar case in the future.

Chicago Dem's fiddle while
concealed carry calendar burns
On Thursday, Illinois Rep. Brandon Phelps pulled concealed carry bill HB997 from consideration when it became apparent that it would not have the needed votes to pass. The final tally of 64 votes was well over a majority but 7 votes shy of the 71 super majority needed. The U.S. 7th Circuit Court of Appeals has given the Illinois General Assembly until June 9th to pass a reasonable carry law. With Thursday's vote and the clock ticking away, it looks like the General Assembly is willing to risk "going over the constitutional carry cliff" without a carry law on the books! The bill as originally proposed included a 365 day provision for anyone with a non-resident concealed carry permit from states such as Utah and Arizona to carry in Illinois giving the right to carry to those already licensed elsewhere immediate privilege while the state works out the administrative details on permit application and approval. It was limited in amendment to states that required a shooting component such as Florida. Many Illinois pro-Second Amendment supporters felt the bill gave up too much to the Dems but in the end it failed to pass even after the inclusion of amendments with increasing restrictions. It is back to the drawing board as the clock winds down to midnight, June 8th. [Partial source: Illinois State Rifle Association]

CCRKBA to Piers Morgan:
"Your plane is waiting"
Late last year, CNN's Piers Morgan threatened to "deport" himself if the United States did not dramatically change its gun laws. Sorry Piers, Congress has rebuked the messiah and his four horsemen of the apocalypse' attempts to rein in modern sporting rifles and 30 rounds mags. Now the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA) is suggesting he pack his bags. "Piers Morgan has made a habit of demonizing and insulting American gun owners," CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb observed. "If he so dislikes the people who call this nation home, a nation that has twice rescued Great Britain and the world from war, then perhaps it is time for him to make good on his threat. There are flights leaving daily." Morgan professed in December that he loves the United States "as a second home and one that has treated me incredibly well." He told the London Daily Mail that he is the victim of an "ongoing war of verbal attrition in America" due to the gun rights debate. At the time, he suggested part of his problem is that he is British, "a breed of human being who burned down the White House in 1814 and had to be forcefully deported en masse." "Face it," Gottlieb said. "I have more guns than Morgan has viewers. And guess what? I bet his viewers have killed more people than my guns! The Ultimate Survival rifle
11 cartridges from 12 gauge to .308
Gear Up has introduced a prepper's dream: The X Caliber Shotgun. It addresses the concern that regardless of what firearm you choose to take with when society crumbles or zombies rule, you won't be able to find the corresponding ammunition anywhere. Historically you had two choices: Carry multiple types of firearms to increase your chances of coming across ammo or have your brains eaten by a zombie when your favorite caliber is scarcer than logic in a comic book world. Now there's a third choice: X Caliber Shotgun. An adapter system that comes in a handy pouch that allows one 12-gauge shotgun to take 11 different types of ammunition. The X Caliber Shotgun Gauge Adapter System mates to a single shot, break action shotgun that when combined significantly broadens your potential to find hard to purchase or even find, ammunition. The system uses eight steel, seven-inch long adapters that permit using 11 different caliber rounds including: .22LR, 38 Special, .357, 9mm, 45 ACP, 45 LC, .410 shotgun, 12 gauge shotgun, .223, 7.62×39 and 308. Reports indicate accuracy field tests are sufficient for a survival situation though not up to long distance expert marksmanship. MSRP: $499.99.
