Hola Salseros & Salseras,

This week, we are allowing additional beginner students to enter our 5 week series since many have asked about it.:) We usually do not allow drop-ins, however we are making the exception for the month of June. Feel free to register online through our website.

This week we have our Tropical Thursdays at Havana'59 starting with lessons at 8pm. Get there before 9pm and pay only $3, after 9pm it's $5. See below for more info.

Saturday Latin nights at Addis are canceled. Thank you to all that attended the Grand Opening and Clara's Birthday party, both were very well attended events. However, we need consistent support in order to maintain a weekly Saturday Latin night event. Perhaps in the future we will re-visit a monthly Saturday social. In the meantime, stay tuned for our 5th Annual All White Party coming in July or August. :)

Salsa 4 Beginners:

Salsa 4 Beginners: (Progressive series week #2)

When: Mondays

Time: 7pm-8pm

Location: The Dance Space - 6004A W. Broad St. (2nd FL)

Cost: $50 for 5 classes or $12 per class.

No partners are necessary as we rotate students.

Shoes:

No flip flops, loose sandals, sneaker or 5 inch heels...Leather sole shoes or socks are best. Please wear a comfortable shoe that will allow you to spin easily etc.

Note: Private lessons are also available.

Salsa 4 Advanced Beginners - ONGOING DROP-INS ALLOWED!

When: Mondays

Time: 8pm-9pm

(Ongoing class, drop-ins allowed if you've taken classes before or had some beginner dancing experience).

What shoes do I wear? Or where can I buy a pair of dance shoes?

If you are beginner and don't want to invest in a pair of dance shoes, we recommend you wear leather sole shoes or socks, no flip flops or sneakers (unless they are dance sneakers). Dance shoes are the best choice.

Dance shoes are for both men and women. Dance shoes have just the right friction to help you spin, but not spin out of control. They provide comfort; flexibility and control. If you plan to dance often, the best recommendation is to find a good pair of dance shoes. Below is a link where you can purchase your shoes.
