The instruction to the church in Thessalonica is characteristic of the Apostle Paul. It goes straight to the point, on the surface looks simple, but when you consider it further is not as easy as it sounds.
How do we pray without ceasing when we're surrounded by distractions and pressures? One way to develop your prayer life is to come to our monthly Prayer & Worship night this Friday. This is a dynamic time of praise, worship and seeking God for the needs of the church and individuals.
Tomorrow we're also going to pray for our leaders. Please prepare and bring a word for our leaders on the night.

This year's Micah Fun Day will be a day trip to Southend-on-Sea, which has something for everyone!
Some of the activities on offer include:

- a beach and the worlds longest pleasure pier

- parks and gardens,
- restaurants, tea rooms, cafes and shopping in the town centre
- and more!
Offers and discounts are available for the theme park, Sea Life Adventure Aquarium, meals and dodgems when you book online. There are also offers for early booking and groups of 10. You can even exchange your Tesco Clubcard vouchers for discounts for the theme park (you need to exchange then before the 2nd of July, see Tesco's website for more details).

Coach cost
Book your seat on the coach for only £12 for children under 16 and £18 for adults.
Please pay as soon as possible, full payment is required by 31st July 2013 by card or cash at the bookshop or call or visit the office. We will require a deposit of £5 per person to reserve your seat, as space is limited.
