Wayne County Apple Tasting Tour is this Weekend!
October is Wayne County Apple Tasting Tour Month, and the Tasting Weekend is coming up! You tour the participating farm markets during the month of October and get a stamp on your brochure from each location to enter to win one of the gift baskets filled with Wayne County treats.

During the  Tasting Weekend the markets offer "apple taste testing," much like wine tasting we do in our tasting room. You'll be amused to know how different each apple variety can be!

We'll join their Tasting Weekend by offering Marilyn's Apple Bread (as we don't grow apples here). We don't know how it will be yet, so let's get surprised together! There will also be a drawing during the weekend to win a bottle of wine in a chilling bag with Carolyn's handmade card. We will be open our regular hours, 12 noon to 6 pm, including Columbus Day. For more information regarding the Tour, please visit: waynecountytourism.com.
Last Chance! Join us for Starry Starry Night on Saturday, Oct. 10th
It's also the last Starry Starry Night of this season on this Saturday, October 10th. We'll stay open until it gets dark while talking about the fall constellations.

When it will be dark enough to star gaze, we'll walk out to visit the stars. It looks that there will be an International Space Station flyby around 7pm. It will be a treat!! Let's hope for a clear night! No reservation required. Just come over!
Our Popular Wines Are Back In Stock
We've done a lot of bottling later in the summer --- please visit our renewed wine list on our website if you haven't done so recently. Pinot Noir and Vidal are back for the first time in a few years; thanks to my hardworking helpers. These supportive "girls" convinced me to bottle this Pinot without oak. There was so much fruit left in the wine so I was hesitated to cover it with oak. So far it seems that our visitors agree with us to have this Pinot as is. Curious?? Come over to try and tell us what you think!

Hunter's Moon is also back with a new label made with one of my paintings from last winter. It used to be on the sweet side, but is now a dry red. Come out for a scenic fall drive to take a walk on the Bluffs, and visit us to try these new selections!

We look forward to your company!!
