Summer Greetings
from Thorpe Vineyard

It's summer so our Tasting Room is now open DAILY from 12 noon to 6 pm! I know it's cool and sluggish so far this year, but let's forget about it.

Happy Independence Day!

For the Fourth of July weekend, we'll stay open until sunset on Friday, the 3rd, and Saturday, the 4th. We plan to offer a cheese plate, if you'd like, along with our tasting chocolate from Candy Kitchen in Williamson in the evenings. And our new holiday tradition: we'll have our Easy Sangria available, as a part of your tasting or by the glass, throughout the weekend. Come get a glass, sit outside and enjoy the moment!

Come try our Newest Wines and See Their Beautiful Labels!

We've got two new labels this season. "Reflection" is a dry white; a blend of Chardonnay and Riesling. "Evening Glow" is a comeback name from perhaps 10 years ago or so. The new artwork was done during winter that adorns each bottle. It's a semi-dry rosé based on Diamond. The third one is expected to be released this summer --- that will also have a revival name. What is it? --- it's a secret right now!

A Quick Update from Fumie:
I hurt my back in the middle of May then the weather turned rainy while I was coping with it. I'm OK now, but am trying to catch up with the rest of the world that got ahead of me. We will be running out of a few varieties every now and then in the tasting room. We all appreciate your understanding. I'll try to keep the newest wine list on the web as much as possible. You can call/email me to inquire as well if you are looking for particular wine to pick up. I will post updates on Facebook; so "Like" Thorpe Vineyard's page to stay in touch!
