Cherry blossoms and cool, crisp air over the Lake --- this is a great time to catch the green flash at sunset, though I haven't had any luck so far this year. May is also a graduation season for college kids, and the following poem (below) is what I always remember. I learned it was called a "commencement," not a graduation, when I came to college. Truly the end of one era is always the beginning of another. In a way, it has to be a beginning of something new when one ends. A moment of partings and new meetings as we move on.
