Season's Greetings!  

 

The Project of the Year is accomplished: The Lake Ontario Wine Trail now has the official State Road signs along Routes 104 and 350. Let's celebrate what the season has to offer with the wines of the Trail!

New Thorpe Vineyard Road Signs

 

As the Wine Trail worked hard to obtain its State signage with the State funding through the New York Wine & Grape Foundation, it brought a new rule to our old road signs. Now we had to have our name on our signs! So here Fumie is showing off the new name plaque to go on the top of a dozen or so of our existing signs. The installation was completed at the end of November. What a nice prelude to our Silver Anniversary next year!

This weekend on the Lake Ontario Wine Trail is Christmas Around The World. We're delighted to be participating as France! Make sure to stop by and celebrate the holidays Parisian style! See the article below for more details.

 

We will be offering Cheese Fondue made with Chardonnay, a true Burgundy variety native to France and grown in our own vineyard. We also have our homegrown Pinot Noir, another Burgundy, to go with a piece of extra dark chocolate. Which will be your favorite??
