Maccabi USA Honors  Fred Cohen with the Robert E. Spivak Leadership Award! The Robert E. Spivak Leadership Award is the highest honor that Maccabi USA can award our volunteers. It is named in honor of long-term President and current Chairman, Bob Spivak. Maccabi USA presents this award to a select few volunteers who have dedicated their time and resources to help the organization impact the lives of thousands of athletes by Building Jewish Pride Through Sports. Fred Cohen is the fifth recipient of the award. He has been a devoted volunteer  for Maccabi USA since first getting involved as an athlete in 2001. Fred has served in multiple leadership positions, including General Chairman of the 2011 Pan Am Maccabi USA Organizing Committee, Co-Chairman and Overall Sports Chairman for the 2007 Pan Am USA Organizing Committee, one of three Overall Sports Directors for the 2013 Maccabiah USA Organizing Committee, as well as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors since 2006. On July 28, 2014, immediately following the Annual Chicago Golf Tournament, we will honor Fred with a gentle 'Roast' by his nearest and dearest friends and then present him with the Leadership Award.
