Greetings!
Friday nite was amazing. We had Sabbatt dinner with our 350 plus athletes, managers, coaches, trainers and medical, along with us were Israeli's, Italians and Gibraltians. At the conclusion of the meal we all joined together singing Hebrew songs. It was a sight to see. On Saturday we were busy with visitations from parents, friends and families. During the day you could see athletes playing in the fields of Shefayim. There were Frisbees, volleyballs, soccer balls and a variety of other outdoor sports being played. it was a wonderful site to watch the athletes playing together. Some went to the beach as a team while others choose the water park. Besides there was lots of ice cream, chips, fruit and beverages eaten. Over all it was a great day. Throughout the week where ever you turn you see the cutest team of all carrying their hoops, they call themselves the
Rhythmic Gymnasts Four.
Besides a couple hiccups along the way the team has become one. The coaches, trainers, managers, medical have stepped up to make sure this experience for the juniors is one that they will remember forever.
Sincerely,
Harold Friedman Maccabi USA Juniors Team Manager |
