Welcome to the January - February edition of  The Examiner, official newsletter of Ethos Risk Services.

In an industry that sees advancements -- technological, investigative, etc., -- on a seemingly daily basis, Ethos vows to continue its organic business approach. We'll continue developing and improving.  And, of course, we'll continue informing and entertaining with content such as that found in this edition of The Examiner

So please, read on and enjoy.

Ethos supports the men and women of the National Guard and Reserve

Ethos Risk Services is proud to have recently been recognized as a Patriotic Employer by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). This organization encourages employers to support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the United States. Only 2% of employers of Guard and Reserve personnel receive this award.

The brave men and women who comprise the National Guard and Reserve could not defend and protect us at home and abroad without the continued promise of meaningful civilian employment for themselves and their families. We at Ethos are proud of our employees who serve (or have served) our country in the armed forces and will always strive to be a workplace that reflects that pride. Our very own Mike Jaczewski, Vice President of Security Consulting & Brand Protection, was invited to fly along on a tanker aircraft flight out of Tampa's MacDill Air Force base. During the flight, Mike (or "Ski" as he is known to his co-workers) got some great video of the plane's crew performing an in-fight refueling of another craft. Take a look below:

Order your Valentine's Day surveillance today

Famous for flowers, candy, and syrupy sweet commercials, Valentine's Day is also known for something else.

Target-rich surveillance possibilities.

With the Hallmark holiday falling on a Saturday this year, Ethos invites you to
catch claimants completing a slew of honey-do activities. Whether landscaping and car washing in warmer areas or shoveling snow and scraping ice in colder climates, our investigators will be there, camera in hand, obtaining video beneficial to your case.

Please hurry, though. Surveillance slots are filling up fast.

Best Catch: January - February 2015

Regular readers of The Examiner know that we at Ethos are very proud of our investigators. They, after all, are responsible for obtaining the great video that keeps our clients coming back for more.

Our latest Best Catch involves a claimant who alleged a neck injury as a result of reportedly being struck in the head with a rock. The claimant reported that his injuries left him unable to work or participate in any recreational activities.

Quality Attracts Quality

By Erik Schmidt, Communications Associate

I'm a journalist at heart. Always have been. As a kid in New Jersey, I started my own sports publication. The content featured baseball standings and stories based on Mets games I'd seen on TV. I subsequently worked for our town's twice-weekly newspaper, earned a journalism degree, and bounced around as a sports editor and freelance writer before transitioning into the risk mitigation industry.

Ethos Eight - Chris Humburg

The Examiner loves to profile Ethos team members in a Q &A session we call "The Ethos Eight."

In this edition, we interviewed Florida native and Director of Evidence, Chris Humburg. A man who has seen his share of documented fraud, Chris talks music, football, and cowbell.

Our Clients are our best advertising...Hear that? It's the Ethos buzz.
"I will be using you folks more because I love the quick response & turn around. I try to share the requests but the other vendors are just not as good as you all. So keep up the good work! Props to all!"

Lewis, Claims Representative - February, 2015

"I've had a very favorable experience with Ethos and kudos to Mike for initially cold calling me. I understand how difficult it is to continuously turn out an excellent investigative product and Mike has been clearly instrumental in ensuring that product time and again. Conducting excellent field work is one thing, turning it into an excellent readable work product is another skill set and something Ethos understands and is clearly above most."

- Aaron, Legal Department - January, 2015
