Dear Saint Arnold Army,
The Oktoberfest bug has bitten our kitchen. All they can think about right now is sausage. That's right, the guys (and gal) in our kitchen have been experimenting with all kinds of housemade sausages as of late, and their hard work is your gain. Earlier this week, we introduced the Würst öf Dër Wëëk.
Each week, we'll be serving a different sausage creation crafted right here in the friendly confines of the Saint Arnold kitchen. For instance, this week it's Currywurst on a Challah Bun with Preserved Lemon Relish and Art Car IPA Ketchup. The Würst öf Dër Wëëk is $12 and served with your choice of hand cut frites or side salad.
Another new addition to our food menu is our Fried Chicken Sandwich. It features a crispy fried chicken breast with our house pickles and coleslaw on a toasted sourdough bun. It's served with our hand cut frites or side salad as well.
You can also now make any sandwich a combo by adding a pint of beer for just $3.
The mainstays remain. Our Daily Lunch Special is still $20 and includes two courses and beer until 2:00 PM. Our Classic Beer Tasting Package is still $10 and available any time.

Saint Arnold Pub Crawl in Midtown 
Saturday, September 17 - 2:00 - 6:00 PM
Midtown. Long time, no see. We're bringing our World Famous Saint Arnold Pub Crawl back to Midtown next Saturday. It'll run the same as our previous Midtown crawls, and as always, it's free to participate!
We'll be utilizing our shotgun start method, which means you can start at any of the first seven places between 2:00 and 3:00 to pick up your punch card. After that, you'll hit the rest of the stops in any order before 6:00. 3rd Floor and Pub Fiction will count as one stop. Take your pick. Or go to both!
At 6:00, everyone will meet at the final stop, where we'll award the prize for all the finishers, a special Saint Arnold Pub Crawl pint glass! Here's the full layout:

Beer & Cheese Tasting with Houston Dairymaids
Sunday, October 2 - 3:00 - 5:00 PM
I cheese! You cheese! We all cheese for ice chee... Wait, that's not it. Cheese be with you. And also with you. That's it.
October is American Cheese Month, and we're getting all cheesy with the Houston Dairymaids. October also marks their 10th Anniversary, so we think it's the perfect time to host a Beer & Cheese Tasting with them at the brewery.
On Sunday, October 2, you can enjoy a plethora of Texas made cheeses paired with Texas made beer. The Dairymaids will tell you all about the cheese, and we'll be there with the beer knowledge. All in all, it will be a delicious Sunday afternoon.
Seats are $25 per person, and space is limited.

Football is Back!
Tailgating at NRG Stadium
Like we do every season, we will be tailgating prior to each home game of our local professional football team. You know the one. Their colors are War Red, Freedom White and Rich Stainless Blue. Our tailgate is located in the Platinum lot - you can look for our brand new red van and trailer and our Saint Arnold flag.
To come by and enjoy our tailgate, you need to be on our guest list. Starting next week, we'll have a link on our website to sign up. Don't worry - it's free! We do have a limit to how many beautiful people we can accommodate though, so the earlier you sign up, the better.
If you pass by our tailgate this Sunday, and you are not on our list, stop and say hi. If you're a friendly beer lover (and you're over 21), we'll do our best to accommodate you.

 Special Beer Dinner at Saint Arnold

Over the past few weeks, Chef Ryan and team have enjoyed the research involved in putting together a beer dinner. Of course, this includes sampling dishes alongside the full spectrum of our beers and deciding on the perfect pairings. It's funny - they never seem to complain about this research.
You can taste the fruits of their labor at a special Beer Dinner in our Investors Pub on Tuesday, September 13. Chef Ryan will guide you through five courses and the beers we chose to pair with each. Taps will open at 6:00 PM, and we'll sit down for dinner at 6:30.
Reservations are $70 per person (plus tax), and space is very limited. Check out the full menu below and reserve your seats here.

Oktoberfest 2016 at Saint Arnold
Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1
6:00 - 9:00 PM
It's that time of year to put on your best dirndl, lederhosen or other Tyrolean duds and come out to our annual Oktoberfest party in our Beer Hall. You could even be crowned King or Queen of Oktoberfest - we'll have a contest to see who comes outfitted the best.
Chef Ryan will be preparing a special German dinner, and we'll have our regular lineup of beers on tap. You'll be able to enjoy these beers from the commemorative Oktoberfest mug you'll receive - all while being entertained with live music.
Tickets are $45 each and include admission, beer, dinner, a pretzel and a commemorative mug. Get your tickets for Friday night here or Saturday night here. Space is limited.
King and Queen of Oktoberfest Contest: We will choose one best dressed man and one best dressed woman each evening using our own highly subjective criteria. The winners will receive $100 each and the envy of all of their Tyrolean serfs.
