Dear Saint Arnold's Army:
Each year, shortly after celebrating our anniversary, we celebrate Saint Arnold himself, Bishop of Metz and Patron Saint of Brewers. In his day, he kept his people healthy by extolling the virtues of drinking beer. He was a true Saint indeed.
With Feast of Saint Arnold, we honor his legacy by supporting those who keep the young people in our community healthy, Texas Children's Hospital.

Feast of Saint Arnold
Sunday, July 17 - 5:00 - 8:30 PM
On Sunday, July 17, we will be hosting the Feast of Saint Arnold, our annual fundraiser for Texas Children's Hospital's Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center. IBD includes Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis, which together affect 1.4 million people in this country alone. The TCH IBD Center is a leading institution in the treatment and research of these diseases in the juvenile population.
Feast of Saint Arnold is a beer dinner unlike any other event. It features four courses: beef, pork, fish and fowl. All are served simultaneously and family-style (or as you would expect medieval knights to be served). The food is the result of a collaboration between Saint Arnold Executive Chef Ryan Savoie and Brenner's Executive Chef Jason Cole. The full food menu is below. Reviews from previous years have been enthusiastic, to say the least.
You'll get to pair the dishes with any of our regular beers, and we'll also have a few special beers on tap. For the evening, we'll be tapping:
- Pumpkinator aged in Bourbon Barrels
- Cask Conditioned Divine Reserve No. 13
- Dubbelganger - Sorachi Ace Dubbel with Brettanomyces
You'll arrive at 5:00 PM, enjoy some hors d'oeuvres and your aperitif beers. At 5:45 prompt, the Feast will commence. Utensils optional. Attire is brewery formal, which only precludes flip-flops.
Reservations are $125 each and include all of your food and beer. In addition, each attendee will take home our special Saint Arnold ceramic mug. Drinking from this mug makes you feel like a medieval knight and will definitely put you in the mood for a fitting Feast.
Because tickets are purchased directly from Texas Children's Hospital, they are tax deductible. This is a popular event and will sell out.

Pub Night at Saint Arnold with Houston Dairymaids
Friday, June 24 - 5:00 - 10:00 PM
Our lovely, air conditioned Beer Hall is open till 10:00 PM every Friday for Pub Night. On the fourth Friday of each month, we welcome the lovely ladies of Houston Dairymaids. They'll be serving pairing flights of cheese and beer until 9:00 (or until they sell out). Here's what they're bringing on Friday:
- Col d'Aubisque's Estive Mixte with Summer Pils
- Latte Da Dairy's Caerphilly with Icon Gold - Texas Honey Saison
- Cowgirl Creamery's Red Hawk with 5 O'Clock Pils
On the beer side, we'll have bottles of our latest Bishop's Barrel release, BB14, which hit the market just this week. It is a Russian Imperial Stout aged in Bourbon Barrels with Coffee. It is delicious. Also for the evening, we'll be tapping the tart, refreshing and fruity Boiler Room Brett Raspberry.
As they do every Pub Night, our kitchen will be delivering tasty eats to your belly in the form of Burgers, Brats, Crawfish Rolls, Fried Pickles, Pork Carnitas Nachos and Beef Fajita Quesadillas.
