Dear Saint Arnold's Army:  That's when he saw her. From across the Houston Arboretum, they locked eyes. When his gaze met hers, they both knew it was love at first sight. Michael Stein, our marketing guy, has a thing for cute brunettes. This one looked particularly playful. But what really sealed the deal was her cold, wet nose. At the end of the afternoon, Stein took that girl home. That girl, Tayra, is a 15 week old Plotthound. BARC had brought her out to our first ever PUP Crawl to be adopted, and Stein couldn't stand the thought of anyone else having her.  In all, six dogs found new homes on Sunday. Thanks to you and Ale Wagger drinkers everywhere, we were able to present a $12,000 check to BARC. The PUP Crawl itself raised an additional $1,000 for BARC and $1,000 for the Houston Arboretum. White Noise is Back for FPSF
Saturday, June 4 & Sunday, June 5
Back in the fall of 2015, we brewed a Belgian-Style Wit for our Icon series. We loved this beer so much that we've been looking for any opportunity to bring it back. Free Press Summer Festival give us that opportunity.
Enter: White Noise.
For the fourth consecutive year, we're celebrating FPSF by brewing White Noise, a hoppy Belgian white ale. The base beer of this year's version is the aforementioned Icon Gold - Belgian-Style Wit. This classic Witbier has a subtle aroma of orange, citrus and coriander along with a distinct Belgian yeast character.
Rather than simply rehashing the original recipe, we decided to change the hops up a touch and dry-hop it with Centennial. The result is an incredibly refreshing and hop-forward Wit - perfect for drinking on a hot summer day at Eleanor Tinsley Park.
You'll be able to find White Noise on tap at several locations throughout the festival grounds. It will also be available inside the Fancy Pants tents, if you're fancy like that.

Spend Your Memorial Day with Us
Yes, we're open Memorial Day, and if you're looking for a great place to enjoy lunch, we've got you covered. On Monday, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, we'll be serving a special Memorial Day buffet lunch, which will feature the following:
Roasted Chicken | Chopped Brisket | Bratwurst
Baked Beans | Potato Salad | Broccoli Salad
Apple Cobbler | Watermelon
For $18.48 plus tax ($20 total), you'll get the buffet lunch and beer until 2:00 PM. (Our regular menu will not be available during this time - just the buffet.) We are taking reservations online, and we expect this day to fill up. After 2:00 PM, we'll serve a limited food menu.

Pub Night at Saint Arnold
Friday, May 27 - 5:00 - 10:00 PM
It's about to get real cheesy at the brewery. On Friday, the Houston Dairymaids are joining us at Pub Night (as they do on the fourth Friday of each month) with beer and cheese pairing flights. Here's what they'll have for you:
- Tomme de Hood with Ale Wagger
- Bleu Mont Cheddar with Icon Green - 7220 Pale Ale
- Mitibleu with Elissa IPA
We'll also be tapping some special release beers for the evening including Dubbelganger, our Sorachi Ace Dubbel with Brettanomyces, and Divine Reserve No. 13, our Belgian Quad released in 2013. Several limited release bottles will be available as well: BB12, BB13, DR15 and DR16.
If you're hungry for more than cheese, Chef Ryan and his crew will be serving up delicious Pub Night fare. In addition to Burgers, Brats and Pretzels, they'll be making Crawfish Rolls, Sriracha/Jalapeņo Wings, Fried Pickles and Grilled Cheeses with Housemade Ham!

Patron Saint of Hops Pub Crawl in Dallas

Heading to Dallas this weekend? Perfect timing! Our world famous Pub Crawl is hitting the road, and you can find us in Lower Greenville on Saturday.
