Boiler Room Brett Raspberry Now Available
Last September, we held an event at the brewery called Boiler Room Bonanza, where we debuted many iterations of our Boiler Room Berliner Weisse. Two popular versions were Grain Room, which underwent a secondary fermentation with brettanomyces, and Boiler Room aged in Chardonnay barrels with raspberries. We decided to combine these two (sans chardonnay barrels) for a larger scale release. Thus, Boiler Room Brett Raspberry.
The secondary fermentation with brettanomyces took eight months. We then added over 1,000 lb of raspberries (just shy of a pound per gallon) to condition for another month. Brett yeast has the unique ability to ferment complex sugars that standard brewers yeast cannot and also break down any esters/phenols produced by the primary stain.
Traditionally, Boiler Room has notes of lemon peel and a slight floral hop character. In this version, these have been subdued and replaced by a cherry-pie likeness and the added funk character that brett is well known for. With the added raspberry, expect a bouquet of raspberry jam. The flavor is an upfront, thirst quenching raspberry delight, followed by a tart and dry finish, making your palate thirst for more. Thankfully, at 3.7% ABV, there's no shame in enjoying a few of these.

Our 22nd Anniversary Party: Music Lineup
On Saturday, June 11, we'll be celebrating 22 years of brewing beer with a party at the brewery. We're setting up a stage in our front parking lot for live music. Here's the lineup:

Our Executive Chef Ryan aka Franklin Mint will be DJing, and our resident rapper Germ will be making a special appearance as well. In addition to live music, there will be beer, a commemorative glass, the World Elevated Beer Pouring Championships, food and live t-shirt printing from Santo artist Carlos Hernandez.
Tickets are just $25 plus tax. With that, you'll get admission, three beers and a commemorative 22nd Anniversary glass.

Pub Night at Saint Arnold
Friday, May 13 - 5:00 - 10:00 PM
Pub Night is back for good! Every Friday from now on, our Beer Hall is open till 10:00 PM, and along with our regular lineup of beers, we'll be tapping a few special selections.
This Friday, a version of Bishop's Barrel No. 13 with Cherries will be available - we call it Virgin Monk. We'll also be tapping a cask of Icon Blue - Coffee Porter with Cinnamon and Vanilla. Divine Reserve No. 14, our Belgian Strong Golden Ale will be on tap, and several limited release bottles will be available including DR13, DR15, BB12 and BB13.
Hungry? Chef Ryan and his crew will be serving up delicious eats! In addition to Burgers, Brats and Pretzels, they'll be making Softshell Crab Po-Boys, Chicago Dogs and Enchilada Dogs. Yum!

If you're looking for a great place to enjoy lunch on Memorial Day, we've got you covered. From 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Monday, May 30, we'll be serving a special Memorial Day buffet lunch, which will feature the following:
Roasted Chicken | Chopped Brisket | Bratwurst
Baked Beans | Potato Salad | Broccoli Salad
Apple Cobbler | Watermelon
For $18.48 plus tax ($20 total), you'll get the buffet lunch and beer until 2:00 PM. (Our regular menu will not be available during this time - just the buffet.) We are taking reservations online, and we expect this day to fill up quickly. After 2:00 PM, we'll serve a limited food menu.

Thursday Concerts at Discovery Green
On Thursday evenings through June, you can enjoy free concerts at the beautiful Discovery Green in Downtown Houston. Each week, you can enjoy Saint Arnold beer, and on select dates, you can turn in those six pack carriers you've been saving up and get double the recycling points!
The concerts kickoff Thursday, May 19 with Houston hip hop legend Bun B. May 19, June 2 and June 30 are all Double Six Pack Points night.

Get Married by Saint Arnold Himself at Big Texas Beer Fest
NRG Center - Saturday, May 21
The Big Texas Beer Fest next Saturday will feature over 80 breweries and over 300 beers, including a selection of Divine Reserve and Bishop's Barrel releases from our cellar. Come visit us, and you'll also have the rare opportunity to be married by Saint Arnold himself.
Yes, the Patron Saint of Brewers will be at our Chapel o' Love performing wedding ceremonies. If you want to have your vows renewed, he'll do that too. Maybe you want to marry your favorite beer. Go for it. Perhaps you just want to touch his legendary beard. That's okay - we won't judge.
