Dear Saint Arnold's Army: Congratulations to The Carnies, winners of our 9th Annual One Pot Showdown! Their Beer for Breakfast (Sausage and Ale Wagger Pancakes) was chosen by the judges as the best dish at our annual cooking competition a couple of weekends ago. The Carnies were repeat champions - they won our inaugural One Pot Showdown way back in 2008! Second place went to the Relief Pitchers for their Sailing Santa Indian Meatballs, and the One Pot Wenches took third place with their Five Pepper Chile con Carne made with Boiler Room. The Spirit Award went to Brew King, whose booth featured America's favorite yard game, "Bra Pong" (you'll have look at the photos). Check out photos from One Pot Showdown and see the winning recipes here.

Pub Crawl in The Heights
Saturday, February 13 - 2:00 - 6:00 PM
We're taking over White Oak this Saturday for our annual Spring Bock Pub Crawl in The Heights, which is always one of our biggest Pub Crawls of the year.
We'll utilize our usual open house schedule for the first six stops - this means you can visit them in any order. You'll get your ticket at whichever stop you decide to visit first, and from there you'll visit the rest of the stops. We will be handing the tickets out between 2:00 and 3:00 PM only, so make sure you get out there by 3:00.
At 6:00, everybody will gather at the final stop, and that's where we will award the prizes. The prize for completing the Pub Crawl is a brand spanking new Saint Arnold Pub Crawl pint glass. We'll have a large but limited supply. Designated drivers are always eligible for the award and encouraged to attend! Here's the layout:
Hit these spots between 2:00 and 6:00:
Little Woodrow's
BB's Cafe
Jimmy's Ice House
Fitzgerald's
Public House Heights
Christian's Tailgate
At 6:00, head to the final stop:
Onion Creek

Pub Night at Saint Arnold Friday, February 12 - 5:00 - 10:00 PM Pub Night is back! It only really left for a week. We'll have Pub Nights each of the remaining Friday evenings in February, as well as every Friday in March.
As always, we'll be tapping some special beers including a cask conditioned version of our recently released Icon Blue - Coffee Porter. We added lactose to this special cask to add body and sweetness to the chocolately, roasty beer. We'll also have Winter Stout aged in Bourbon Barrels on tap and Bishop's Barrel No. 11 (Endeavour aged in Gin Barrels) available in bottles.
Of course, Chef Ryan and our kitchen crew will be serving delicious food. They've even dubbed the night "Frymageddon." The menu will include Burgers, Brats, Beer Battered Fish Sandwiches, Shrimp Cocktails and a platter that can only be called the "Fisherman's Freakout." It comes with Beer Battered Cod, Fried Shrimp, Calamari, Hushpuppies and Coleslaw. Frymageddon, indeed.

Fish on Fridays at Saint Arnold Friday, February 12 - Friday, March 25 This Friday, and each Friday until Easter, we'll be serving fish (or shrimp! or oysters!) at the brewery as our Daily Lunch Special, which includes two courses and beer until 2:00 PM.
We expect this Friday and Good Friday to be especially busy, so we're now accepting reservations online. On those two days, we'll be serving only the Lunch Special until 2:00. At 2:00 PM, we'll have a limited menu available the rest of the afternoon. On the other Fridays, we'll serve a limited menu throughout the day, in addition to the Lunch Special until 2:00.

Collaboration Beer Dinner at Paul's Kitchen
Tuesday, February 23 at 6:30 PM
Beer dinners are always pretty great, but we love when we can get hands on with the menu. Believe it or not, sampling delicious food with great beer and deciding on the perfect pairing is quite a bit of fun.
Our Executive Chef Ryan Savoie and Chef Paul Lewis of Paul's Kitchen teamed up to create a fantastic menu featuring six courses paired with Saint Arnold. Bishop's Barrel No. 12, Divine Reserve No. 15 and 20th Anniversary Ale are among the beer pairings.
Our owner/founder Brock Wagner will also on hand for the evening because he too loves delicious food and beer. Reservations are $65 per person plus tax and gratuity. Call (713) 360-2002 for reservations.
Check out the full menu for this special evening here.
