Bishop's Barrel No. 10 is Now Available

Happy BB10 Day!

The tenth release in our Bishop's Barrel series is available beginning today. To celebrate our 21st Anniversary, BB10 is a bourbon barrel aged version of the celebratory barleywine we brewed last year as 20th Anniversary Ale.

We aged the base beer in Woodford Reserve bourbon barrels for nearly a year, and the result is a barleywine coming in at 12.7% ABV. As with our original 20th Anniversary Ale, BB10 drinks very well today, and we expect it to taste wonderful for several anniversaries to come.

This beer pours a deep ruby color with a lingering khacki colored head. The aroma is caramel, bourbon and vanilla with slight wood and dark cherry notes. The taste is dark fruit with bourbon notes and lots of toffee sweetness that lingers without being cloying. This beer has a full body with soft carbonation.
