Bishop's Barrel No. 9 Coming Monday
The ninth release in our Bishop's Barrel series will be available beginning Monday, April 13. BB9 is Pumpkinator aged in bourbon barrels for over seven months. We used both Woodford Reserve and Willett barrels and blended them prior to packaging the beer.
BB9 pours a dark brown to black color with a tan head. The nose is pumpkin spice up front with oak, bourbon, vanilla and dark fruit in the background. The taste starts with sweet chocolate and pumpkin spice up front and finishes with a bit of alcohol heat and spices. This beer has a medium-full body with a soft mouthfeel.

Grand Opening of The Republic Smokehouse & Saloon
Saturday, April 11 - 12:00 - 6:00 PM
The folks at The Republic Smokehouse & Saloon in Midtown are celebrating their grand opening this Saturday with a party featuring live country music and Saint Arnold draft beer specials all day long. There will also be passed appetizers from 2:00 - 4:00 PM.
The Republic is located at 1910 Bagby. Liberty and libations for all!

Houston Public Media Volunteer Night

Santo De Mayo Social Run at Whole Foods, Montrose
Wednesday, April 15 at 6:00 PM
Wednesday is tax day, so get yours in early and then blow off some steam at our Santo De Mayo Social Run at Whole Foods Market in Montrose. Think of it as a warm up for our Santo De Mayo 5K on Sunday, May 3. Check-in is at 6:00, and the run will start at 6:30. When you're done, you can enjoy $2 cans of Summer Pils and a selection of tacos from Whole Foods.
This is a social run, not a timed event, so all paces are welcome. It's a free event, and we'll run about three miles. We will also be drawing for two VIP tickets to Untapped courtesy of Houston Press!

Friday Happy Hours at the Ballpark 
Our Friday Happy Hours at the ballpark are returning for another season. This means every Friday evening home game you'll be able to get in the game an hour earlier than usual (generally this means 4:30) and enjoy $5 Saint Arnold beers at our bar in left field. Our custom cornhole boards and giant Jenga games will be out on the patio.
Next Friday, April 17, we'll be joined by Astros great Larry Dierker, mischievous space alien Orbit and the Shooting Stars. Throughout the season, we'll have some of our Brew Crew out there to talk beer and baseball with you.

Fly Fishing Film Tour at Saint Arnold
Thursday, April 30 at 6:00 PM
This event is for our fly fishing enthusiasts. Every year the Fly Fishing Film Tour, or F3T, travels around the country bringing world class fly fishing films to local angler communities. The original and preeminent exhibition of fly fishing cinema, The F3T is a one of a kind experience. Each year fishy folk of all ages gather at premieres to soak up films from around the world, spin a few yarns amongst friends and dream about casts still unmade. If you've been, you know what we're talking about.
Tickets are $30 and include your beer for the evening. All proceeds from ticket sales and auction items benefit Southeast Texas Chapter of Heroes on the Water.
Doors open at 6:00 PM so please come early to enjoy a pre-event social gathering to meet and make new friends. There will also be vendors on hand to display equipment and answer questions. Film starts promptly at 7:00 PM.
