Shepherd Plaza Oktoberfest Pub Crawl on Saturday
Our annual Oktoberfest Pub Crawl in the Shepherd Plaza neighborhood is coming up this Saturday, September 13. We'll kick things off between 2:00 and 3:00 PM at Mucky Duck where you'll receive your Pub Crawl ticket (as always, it's free!).
From there, you'll hit the next four stops in any order and head to the final stop at 6:00 PM. The prize for making all of the stops will be a Saint Arnold Pub Crawl pint glass! As always, designated drivers are eligible and encouraged! Here is the plan:
2:00 - 3:00 PM:

While it's not an official Pub Crawl stop, don't forget Star Pizza is in the area with some tasty pizza. Eating is definitely encouraged.

Our Newest Icon Mandarina Wheat is Now Available
As Icon Green rides off into the sunset, Icon Gold returns - this time as Mandarina Wheat, a hop forward and refreshing ale. It has a light pleasant American wheat beer base that  shows off the Mandarina hop, an experimental German hop variety with orange notes on the nose, and a pronounced grapefruit flavor in the taste.
This golden slightly hazy beer has a nice creamy head with a lightly fruity aroma. The taste starts with a light hoppy bitter that carries through to the finish although never coming on too strong. The wheat malt provides a soft body that complements the hops while remaining light. The beer is highly refreshing with a nice hop finish that makes you want another sip.

Oktoberfest 2014 at Saint Arnold
Friday, October 10 and Saturday, October 11
6:00 - 9:00 PM
Put on your best dirndl, lederhosen or other Tyrolean duds and come out to our annual Oktoberfest party in our tour hall. You could even be crowned King or Queen of Oktoberfest - we'll have a contest to see who comes outfitted the best.
Chef Ryan will be preparing a special German dinner, and we'll have our regular lineup of beers on tap. You'll be able to enjoy these beers from the commemorative Oktoberfest mug you'll receive. To entertain you, we'll have live music from Chris Ryback - The Accordion Cowboy on Friday and The Dujka Brothers on Saturday.
Tickets are $45 each and include admission, dinner, a pretzel, beer and a commemorative mug. Get your tickets for Friday night here or Saturday night here. Space is very limited.
King and Queen of Oktoberfest Contest: We will choose one best dressed man and one best dressed woman each evening using our own highly subjective criteria. The winners will receive $100 each and the envy of all of their Tyrolean serfs.

How about a road trip? This Saturday, September 13, we're taking our world famous Pub Crawl on the road to the world famous French Quarter in New Orleans, and you should be there. You know, if you're not already Pub Crawling with us in Houston.

Untapped Indie Music & Beer Festival at Discovery Green
Saturday, September 20
We'll be out at Untapped as the stage sponsor, and we're bringing with us some very special beers. Throughout the day, we'll be opening a limited amount of all seven of our Bishop's Barrel releases.
We'll start with BB1 at 2:30, then move chronologically on the hour, every hour. We'll also have our Divine Reserve No. 14 aged in Tequila Barrels on tap.

Yappy Hour at Sabine Promenade
Thursday, September 25 - 6:00 - 8:00 PM
Get ready for a dog-gone good time with your favorite pooch and the Bayou Buddies during Yappy Hour at Sabine Promenade. This event will feature a dog "kissing booth," doggie lounge area, on-site pet adoptions from BARC and dog themed wine and beer tastings.
Bring your dog and enjoy a cold Saint Arnold outdoors. Tickets are $10 for Bayou Buddies or $15 for General Admission. Get yours here.

Beginning October 1, the price of our public tour and tasting will be $9.24 plus tax. And since you were told there would be no math, that's an even ten dollars.
