Shepherd Plaza Oktoberfest Pub Crawl
on Saturday, September 21
Our annual Oktoberfest Pub Crawl in the Shepherd Plaza neighborhood is coming up next Saturday, September 21. We'll start this pub crawl at one location, then have an open house between four locations and finish at a final location. The prize for making all of the stops will be a Saint Arnold pint glass! As always, designated drivers are eligible and encouraged! Here is the plan: 2:00 - 3:00 PM: Mucky Duck. This is where we gather to begin and hand out the pub crawl tickets. You must make this stop during this period to get your ticket. 3:00 - 6:00 PM: Visit the following four establishments during this period: - Mugsy's On Richmond
- Hobbit Cafe
- Mezzanine Lounge
- McElroy's Pub
6:00 PM: Finish at The Stag's Head. As always, remember that we will be bringing a large but limited number of pint glasses. We look forward to seeing you out there! Remember to tip your waitstaff well, and that it is bad form to be seen enjoying anything that doesn't have a little saint in it! While not an official stop on the crawl, Star Pizza is across the street with some tasty pizza! |
First Ever Pub Night at Saint Arnold
Friday, September 13 - 5:00 - 10:00 PM
It's Friday the 13th, and we're getting weird at the brewery. For the first time ever, we will open our air conditioned tour hall strictly as a bar and let you choose what you want to purchase. There won't be an entry fee that night so you will just be able to select beers by the individual glass or bottle. We'll have our regular beers on tap as well as BB2 Brett. On cask, we'll have Elissa IPA, Icon Green and Endeavour. You can also get DR12, DR13, BB4 and even Pumpkinator 2012 by the bottle.
If you get hungry, Chef Ryan will be serving up two different burgers, jerk chicken wings, Frito pies, hand cut frites and pretzels!

Saint Arnold Oktoberfest on Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5
There are still a few tickets left for our annual Oktoberfest parties at the brewery (though Saturday is almost sold out).
We'll have a contest for the King and Queen of Oktoberfest to see who comes outfitted the best. We'll have a special German dinner prepared by Chef Ryan. We'll have all of our regular beers plus casks of Oktoberfest and Icon Gold being served from the beer engines all included in the price. We'll have live music. And of course we'll have our 2013 Oktoberfest mug.

Thursday Night Concerts at Discovery Green
Thursday night concerts are returning to Discovery Green as the weather cools down a bit, so come out to enjoy the live music, tasty beverages and treats. On special nights, you can recycle your six pack (and four pack) carriers for double the points!
All concerts start at 6:30 PM. Here's the lineup:

Houston Homegrown Comedy Show with Saint Arnold
at Houston Improv
Wednesday, September 25 at 8:00 PM 
The Improv has put together a lineup of the some of the best local comics, and we're going to be there to host the evening. There will be Saint Arnold beer specials, prizes and a lot of laughs. The night will be hosted by own very own marketing guy, Germ. Come laugh with him. (Or at him!)
