Hey all.

Our spring season is coming to a close. Over 450 Jackson Hole kids joined us to play soccer this spring. That is a new enrollment record for the club. We are honored your child played and trained with us. We work hard to provide the best soccer training and experience for the youth of Jackson Hole and appreciate the support.

Our United program had 11 teams this spring. All of the teams competed well all season long. Teams traveled to Pocatello, Boise, Twin Falls, Idaho Falls, Lander, and Salt Lake City to compete in tournaments and games. The U10 and U11 girls received quite a treat while attending the Real Salt Lake game during the SLC tournament over Memorial Day weekend by getting to play a scrimmage on the field at half-time in front of a sold-out crowd. A very memorable and rewarding experience for the girls on those teams.

We have two United teams headed to Far West Regionals in Albuquerque, New Mexico from June 15-21. The U13 boys coached by George Hahui and Alyn Suru and the U17 boys coached by Carlos Elizondo will be headed down to compete against the best teams in the Far West region for a chance to go to Nationals. This will be a great experience for all of those boys. We wish them good luck and safe travels.

I would like to give a big thank you out to all of our coaches, managers, volunteers and parents volunteers. We are nothing with out all of you! Thank you for all you do!

I look forward to seeing you all at our end of the season BBQ Fundraiser at the synthetic fields on June 14th. Be sure to stay and watch the showcase game between the top two adult men's teams in town. Diablos vs Argentina at 1:30pm during the BBQ. The skill and passion of the players playing will make for a great display of skill and sportsmanship. Some of our coaches will be playing in that game, so be sure to come and heckle them.

All the best,

Dan Norton

Jackson Broncs win the State Cup!

The Jackson Broncs won the State Cup in convincing fashion with a controlling 3-1 win over Lander in the finals. This is the Broncs 2nd state championship in the last 3 years. Despite losing some seniors, Coach Tom Bresnehan is looking forward to continuing success with the team next season. Through JHYS some of the players will be attending the Far West Regionals in Albuquerque, New Mexico during the week of 6/15 to face off against some top level national competition.

The lady Broncs lost a tough game to a competitive Lander team 1-0 in the opening round. The team then went on to win their last 2 games to finish in 5th place. Despite the tough opening loss of the tournament the girls fought hard to win their final 2 games. The girls suffered injuries throughout the year and despite not being able to defend their 2013 State Championship they fought hard throughout the season.
