The City of Red Deer is looking forward to another great summer, some might say, the BEST SUMMER EVER in Red Deer. Following a successful 2012 series, with events at Bower Ponds and downtown on the Ross Street Patio, we are looking to expand the series and the benefit in 2013. Our current plans are to host another 4 free concerts at the Bower Ponds stage, June 23rd Randi Boulton; July 7th Fred Penner; August 11th Punch Drunk Cabaret and finally Sept 1st PEAR. We are also looking to host 4 Ross Street Patio street parties along with the 14 weeks of midweek events. The Ross Street Patio Street parties will be held on the same days as the 1st Fridays, June 7th, July 5th, August 2nd and Sept 6th, this would be an increase of two more large events from 2012.
The Best Summer Ever series is currently seeking sponsors and partners to join the 2013 series to assist in drawing larger audiences, attracting bigger bands and entertainers, and to provide more value for Red Deer residents and business owners. A sponsorship package has been created with numerous levels of sponsorship per event, presenting sponsor ($7000), stage sponsor ($3,000), entertainment sponsor ($2000) and weekly sponsor ($500). Included is an opportunity to package events together and receive a discount (25%) to increase the reach of your sponsorship/marketing dollar.
I would like to extend a discount to the small businesses of downtown Red Deer as an early bird special for the weekly sponsorship package. Receive 25% off the weekly
sponsorship package by committing and submitting payment before February 18,
