(Red Deer, AB) - The Downtown Business Association is pleased to present the final Downtown Market right on Little Gaetz (50th Avenue) from Ross Street to 48 Street this Wednesday evening. Beginning at 4pm until 7pm, the street will be packed with happy shoppers enjoying goods from our local farmers, bakers, and growers, "The final market is always a special one. People who are not regulars come out one last time, and our weekly shoppers say goodbye to one another. In preparation for Thanksgiving, we specifically planned the market to close this week. The market has been well-received by most and continues to grow," said Janice Shimek, Market Manager.

The vendors of the Downtown Market have harvest-fresh selections including sugar pumpkins, squash, fresh meat and baking available for the best Thanksgiving yet. As an official market certified by the Government of Alberta, it provides ample value to the Downtown community and shops, with a pleasant atmosphere and a great reason to be in the core of our city.
