A lot happens at the wrap of summer. A new season both literally and figuratively. One sentiment that I was recently reminded of was that we spend so much energy getting to the goal that we sometimes forget the most important part -savoring the moment. We quickly move on to our next challenge not taking the time to reflect on what we just experienced.
We want to pause to remember what happened this summer in our chapter such as the impressive design competition, our board preparing for the 2015-2016 term, and several industry events. We also look to future events from our industry support system and our 2015 Chapter Weekend. The upcoming annual Chapter Weekend in Buffalo will celebrate our 40th anniversary in the hometown of your current president (yours truly). It is shaping up to be a great event filled with the impressive energy from both the bustling Buffalo cityscape and planned events. I certainly hope to personally see you there.
In the meantime, save those last slivers of summer and use them as the perspective and even inspiration to keep us moving forward.

I'm always here to chat,
Corinn Soro
