ASID is celebrating our 40th year and we certainly have a lot to show for it. Besides being the largest and oldest national interior design organization, ASID has been instrumental in developing the infrastructure for CIDA, IDCEC, NCIDQ and USGBC LEED-CI.
We represent all aspects of interior design which is unique as compared to others. ASID rolled out the Protocols for Health and Wellness Through Design in October and we are the leading voice for legislative initiatives. This organization continues to form partnerships with other industry specialists such as IES and IALD as we truly become the center of design knowledge.
Thank you to our members who have been with us for a large majority of this 40 year journey. You help remind us why we are here. May we enjoy the next 40 years living out our mission statement:
"ASID advances the profession and communicates the impact of interior design to enhance the human experience."
Corinn Soro President, NYU/CE Chapter of ASID
