Statement on Orlando Nightclub Shooting

WASHINGTON (June 12, 2016) - Supreme President John W. Galanis has issued the following statement on the Orlando nightclub shooting--the deadliest mass shooting in American history:

"The American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association condemns and is outraged by the act of terror and hate that took place in Orlando, Florida, early Sunday morning, in what has become the deadliest mass shooting in American history. Our thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathies are with the families of the victims and all those who have been affected by this deplorable and heinous act. The American Hellenic community stands with the community of Orlando during this most difficult time and commends Orlando's first responders."
