Art On The Avenue will held on Friday, August 9th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. We are encouraging local artists, musicians and performance artists to join us - spaces are just $10 - participants are responsible for their own setups and all artwork must be handmade. The three galleries and studios of Heritage Village will remain open and will be featuring live demonstrations, participatory events and a fun raffle where folks can do an "Art Crawl" where they visit each of the 3 studios to receive a stamp. There are 3 winners each month with an original work of mini-art to be donated by each of the studios. We had a great turnout in July and the response from the public was positive and encouraging in that this will become a fun, ongoing event.
Participating artists may leave their setups for the following day which is Market Day held every 2nd Saturday of each month and is a separate venue. For more info on "Art On The Avenue" please contact:

DownStairs Art is looking for students! Pottery lessons for individuals or small groups start at $25/hour for adults and $18.75/hour for students. All skill levels welcome!  We are offering classes in stained-glass all inclusive from $35, fusing classes from $25, & mosaics classes. Some are "make it, take it" one session classes while others are 4-week courses. Also offer refresher courses, workshops, and private classes. A popular class is "Fusing Friday," no experience or appointment needed from 6 to 8 on Friday evening.
