I am very excited to share with you a message I got from a dear friend, John Bowman, the other day through Facebook. Many of you will remember him for his great articles for the Citrus County Chronicle. John shared with me he has fulfilling a dream of his to write a book. Jim Bob Wilson (aka John Bowman) is the main character in this delightful book, which is about his life in Sandy Bay (aka Crystal River).
I am excited to announce that John will be at our May 11th Market Day to do a book-signing of this wonderful book "Life's a (Sandy) Beach, But Watch Out For The Crabs!" Although the names have been changed, anyone who has any history here will recognize locations and possibly people in this delightful book. So save the date of May 11th and get your own copy signed by the author.....you will treasure it I am sure.
