Requests for Prayer
Some needs in our community of faith... |
We've received this note from Darlene Monroe about a family friend in Oklahoma:
I received news this morning that a very dear family friend, Melvin Harris, in Ada, Oklahoma, fell several feet from a ladder at his home yesterday. Melvin is 71 years old and very active, obviously, at home/farm but also in his farm business. He was sent from the local hospital via medivac to Baptist Integrest Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he is stable. His back is broken however he can still move his fingers and toes. There is no emergency surgery scheduled at this point and the only treatment at present is to put him in a back brace and allow for healing. Please pray for quick recovery.
On a more personal note... Melvin and Charlotte are scheduled to go to Hawaii in two months for a two month stay for their 50th wedding anniversary and managed to get their whole family scheduled to be present on the day of the anniversary. Please pray he is well enough to travel for this incredible celebration. Melvin performed my mom and dad's wedding ceremony just two years after his marriage to Charlotte, who was my mom's matron of honor, and they have been a consistent part of our family since.
Thank you for all your prayers, Darlene |

Do you have a prayer request? Share it with us and please indicate whether you'd like it to go to the entire community, or perhaps to a smaller, more private group of intercessors: Email Link for Prayer Requests. Because of the nature of this online e-mail tool, it takes a little bit of time to produce and send, and it takes several days for a significant number of people to open them. You can always post prayer requests immediately in the prayer request forum at the Epiclesis website. If you do not want to receive prayer requests from Epiclesis, but do wish to continue getting Newsletters and Sunday Worship Previews, please modify your account status by choosing the "Update Profile/Email Address" link below.
