When Was the Last Time You Ate a Purple Cupcake? |
|
In an effort to promote awareness of a condition that affects more than 3 million Americans, on March 26 bakeries across the US will be making purple cupcakes to support Epilepsy Awareness Day. Educators are asked to wear something purple to show your support.

Famous Impressionists Are Honored During March |
During the month of March, The Impressionists, a group of Paris-based painters, are honored. The principal Impressionists were Claude Monet, Pierre Auguste Renoir, Camille Pissarro, Alfred Sisley, Berthe Morisot, Armand Guillaumin, and Frederic Bazille. A characteristic of their art was an attempt to capture the changing effects of light and color. Visit NEA's site to learn more about their lives and explore their art with lessons, galleries, activities, and videos.
