Kick Off

  • By 9:45 a.m. everything should be ready to go! Couriers will be returning at regular intervals to your activities/booths to pick up cash and/or tickets throughout the day. If you need help, speak to a courier or have someone find one of us (our cell phone numbers are listed below).
  • Please wear your Fair T-Shirt if you have one, or you can purchase one at the Raffle Table at the Fair.
  • Please wear your name tag, which will be at your booth/activity.
  • Please make sure the morning shift volunteers give their aprons to the afternoon shift volunteers and remove anything from the apron pockets.
  • At the end of the day, turn in all cash, tickets, tokens, aprons, and name tags to the Third Grade classroom.
  • Please leave your activity/booth area clean with the equipment in proper order for storage.

Logistics

An example of the ticket that will be accepted at the Fair, as well as specific information on the rules and price of your booth/activity will be at the area you are staffing. The Champions of the Fair, Quinn Kelly and Aoife Keane, will be wearing identification badges on lanyards and receive special privileges for the day. A copy of these privileges will also be at your booth/activity.

Recycling/Trash

If your booth/activity generates trash, please make sure to find the recycle bins near you - use them - and encourage our guests to use them as well!

School and Camp Information, First Aid, and Lost & Found

If any guests have questions about DCD, please refer them to the Admissions and Camp tables located near the Barn Babies and Toddler Arcade. If anyone needs first aid assistance, please send him/her to the PA (Public Address) table outside of the Lower School entrance. The Lost & Found will also be located there.

Weather

The weather forecast is looking great! Remember to dress in layers, as your staffing location may be in the shade.

Your time and efforts are greatly appreciated by us, all of the children who receive financial aid, and by every child who will have a fabulous day on May 2nd, because of volunteers like you!!

Thank you and enjoy the Fair!!!
