Shakuhachi Master Reidou Konno to perform at charity concert, June 26 at 2:30 pm


Shakuhachi Master Reidou Konno will perform at a charity concert of the West L.A. Holiness Church on Sunday, June 26 at 2:30 pm.
 
In 1969, Konno entered Niigata University, and started to play shakuhachi. He studied Kinko-School Shakuhachi with Living National Treasure Reibo Aoki II. In 2004, he received the highest shakuhachi music title "Kokuuan Daishihan 9 Dan" (the Grand Master, Rank 9).
 
Other artists are: Flamenco Guiter, Jose Tanaka; Piano, Shotaro Matsumoto; Singer, Hiroko Tanaka; and WLA Holiness Choir.
