Reminder / Japanese American Scholarship deadline is coming Thursday, June 2

The Japanese American Treaty Centennial Scholarship Fund was incorporated in 1960 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the U.S. and Japan relations.
 
The fund was established to encourage students of Japanese ancestry to achieve excellence in scholarship and citizenship and to aspire them to higher learning, by giving scholarship award to students of demonstrated ability. 10 plus scholarship awards will be available, each in the amount of $1,000.
 
To all 2016 high school graduates of Japanese ancestry residing in Southern California who plan to enroll in college this year and children of businessmen from Japan who are temporarily in the U.S are welcome and eligible to apply for 57th annual scholarship awards.
