Japanese American National Museum's CEO Greg Kimura resigns

Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles announced May 20 that its President/CEO Dr. G. W. (Greg) Kimura has decided to resign to pursue new leadership opportunities. Dr. Kimura will leave his post on June 30, the end of the museum's fiscal year.
 
Former US Secretary of Transportation Norman Minema, who is the chair of board of trustees of the museum, will lead the Museum Search Committee to select the next leadership.
 
The Museum Search Committee also will work with the Center for Nonprofit Management to identity and select an outside Interim CEO.
