A motion sponsored by two Supervisor of the Los Angeles County Board about the welfare and safety of disputed former Keiro Senior Heathcare facility residents was approved on April 12 morning after testimonies of 10 Japanese American community representatives at the meeting of Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. The motion 51-B was approved by 4 Supervisors. Solis and Supervisor Ridley-Thomas Analysis of the Sale of Keiro Senior HealthCare Service Facilities Founded as a nonprofit more than 60 years ago, Keiro facilities in the Los Angeles area include Keiro Retirement Home and Intermediate Care Facility, the Lincoln Heights Nursing Home, and the South Bay Keiro Nursing Home. Keiro Senior HealthCare Service provides more than 600 Japanese American senior citizens retirement housing, intermediate care, and nursing home services. Higashi started the $30,000 fund for 2015-2017 campaign in January 2015.
Because, the standard budget of the Cultural News operation in past five years is $35,000 annually. The standard annual revenue consists of donations for $10,000, subscriptions for $15,000, and advertisement supports for $10,000.
