Urasenke Association invites public to join Mar. 13 ceremony

Chado Urasenke Tankokai Los Angelese Association is holding the annual Rikyuki, the special tea ceremony to commemorate the great tea master Rikyu. It is scheduled on Sunday, March 13th, 2016. Details are listed below. If you would like to attend Rikyuki, please submit your response by March 8th, 2016. Following the service, we will offer you a bowl of tea along with the Japanese sweets.

Cultural News' Mission: to introduce the best of Japanese art exhibitions and cultural events to the public in Los Angeles

The standard budget of the Cultural News operation in past five years is $35,000 annually. The standard annual revenue consists of subscriptions for $15,000, advertisements for $10,000, and donations for $10,000.
 
In order to ensure publishing the monthly paper in 2015-2017, Cultural News seeks the donation of $30,000 by March 31, 2016.
 
As of Feb. 16, Cultural News has received $24,475 donation from supporters of Cultural News since January 2015. These supports enable Cultural News to continue publishing in coming years.
