More than 300 people participated in the public meeting invited by the Keiro Senior Healthcare at a hall of Nishi Hongwanji Buddhist Temple in Little Tokyo on Oct. 15.

The Keiro management of the retirement and nursing homes explained the necessity of the sale of four facilities to a private company. But due to poor English-Japanese translations, most of the English explanations were lost to many Japanese-speaking audiences.

Many of participants showed their protests against the sale of facilities by wearing red strip round their necks.
