Asian American studies pioneers to gather for their reunion at CSU Long Beach, Sept. 27

An evening of nostalgia open to students, staff, faculty and friends who are connected to Cal State Long Beach's Asian American Studies Department from the late 1960s to the present.
 
The reunion event will be honoring Lloyd Inui and Alan Nishio for their contributions to the AAS program. Their support and dedication made the growth and longevity of Asian American Studies possible.

The reunion event will also recognizing Carrie Furuya Morita, Evelyn Yoshimura, Charlotte Murakami (posthumously), and Dan Kuramoto for their contributions in starting the AAS program.

Entertainment by Miko Shudo & friends. A special performance by June Kuramoto, Dan Kuramoto, and Kimo Cornwell of Hiroshima.

Delicious reception catered by Cherrystones.
