Shige Higashi, editor and publisher of Cultural News, announces the February issue of Cultural News will be published on Friday, February 6.

Higashi is now accepting articles and advertisements for the February issue. The deadline for articles and advertisement is Friday, January 30 at 5:00 pm.

Cultural News informs schedules of Japanese art exhibitions at museums, Japanese cultural events, and Japanese American community news to readers in Southern California.

Higashi visited Tohoku disaster areas several times since March 11, 2011 and has been building relationships between people in Tohoku and Los Angeles.

On March 2015, Higashi is planning to visit Miyako, Iwate to attend the 2015 memorial music event of March 11, 2011.
