The Japan Foundation offers unique and exciting language courses, the JF Nihongo (Nihongo=Japanese), which are based on the Japan Foundation's JF Standard.
These courses focus on how well learners can do things in practical settings. Using materials from Japanese daily life, learners will enjoy these friendly, interactive, and above all, fun courses.
Winter Term: January 20 - March 21, 2015

Miracle Mile Location: The Japan Foundation, Los Angeles, 5700 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 100, Los Angeles, CA 90036
The courses are designed for new Japanese-language learners, as well as those who are interested in improving their existing language skills.
Each course focuses on specific themes and learning goals, such as inviting friends or business e-mail. Each course is offered once a week for 8 weeks.Course Listing
Registration by January 9 will get 10% discount of the fee. Past students also receive 10% discount of the fee.
JF Nihongo: The Japan Foundation offers regular courses during the winter (Jan- March), spring (April-June), and fall terms (Sep-Nov).
During the summer term (July and Aug), special workshops and courses are offered for youth and adults.
Fun workshops and events are offered throughout a year. People can learn practical Japanese and culture from the Japan Foundation's experienced and passionate instructors!
Conversation Cafe: Tea Time January 17 at 1 -3 p.m.

Occasionally the Japan Foundation provides a casual and informative conversation caf� that starts off the new term of the Japan Foundation's language courses. Participants will enjoy chat with native Japanese speakers. All levels are welcome. Japanese language experience is not necessary - this event is open to everyone, ages 18 and up.
