Life happens in waves, or at least that's the way our pattern loving brains see things. We worry that loss comes in threes and we look forward to auspicious patterns that suggest coming luck.

If you take a look at this newsletter, you'll notice that CIO is experiencing a wave of community engagement. This Fall we have been so fortunate to be a part of many community events. We networked and had fun at the Santa Barbara Chamber of Commerce Oktoberfest event. We were a part of United Parents 25th Anniversary Celebration where we got to witness United Parents' founder Ellen Linder being recognized for her magnificent work. We attended the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Barbara's charity Gala where we helped raise money for a great cause and got to rub elbows with the movers and shakers of our town.

Perhaps most excitingly, we cut the ribbon on our new San Luis Obispo office thereby expanding CIO and building even more community along the Central Coast. What a great Fall! Thank you to everyone who allowed us to be part of these wonderful moments.

Press Release: CIO Solutions Opens New Central Coast Office by Jonatha King

Considered to be one of the fastest growing companies on the Central Coast with clients in Ventura County, Santa Barbara County and San Luis Obispo County, CIO Solutions has officially launched a new Central Coast technology office in San Luis Obispo. Currently they provide computer consulting and network management to more than 100 large and medium-sized businesses from San Luis Obispo to Los Angeles, as well as nationally and globally. They are headquartered in Goleta, California, one of California's large technology hubs.

Mr. Egolf shared some of the company's history, including its growth from the garage of Founder/Chairman John Petote in Santa Barbara in 1986 to two corporate offices with 50 Central Coast employees today.

"This new office is our next step toward future expansion," explained President Eric Egolf. "We have an excellent track record for meeting our clients' needs on the first call and for coming up with tailored solutions no matter where they are on their own growth curve. That said, we believe we will be even more effective with an additional office. This new location enables several of our employees to work near their homes. It also enables CIO Solutions to hire more people and contribute more to the local area over time. The goal is a win/win for our clients, our employees, surrounding communities, and our company."

Most of CIO Solutions' current staff is comprised of senior level computer and networking engineers who provide customized IT solutions, with all-inclusive on and off-site network management & support; Private and "Hybrid" Cloud computing; other virtualization solutions; enterprise storage design; and unified communication solutions.

CIO Attended United Parents' 25th Anniversary!

On October 7th, CIO Solutions was cordially invited to attend United Parents' 25th Anniversary Event at the Courtyard Marriott in Oxnard. United Parents have been a great non-profit client of ours and we were honored to attend this event they held.

United Parents contribute to a great cause by providing resources to parents of children with mental health, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

At this event, there were many speakers who educated the attendees about the organization and about the importance of mental health.

CIO Solutions was a proud sponsor of this event and encourage United Parents to continue the diligent work they are doing.

CIO Solutions at the United Boys and Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara Gala

CIO Solutions has been extremely involved in the community this past month. We made sure not to miss out on the United Boys and Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County's Gala either. CIO sponsored a table at the event and a few of our employees came out to participate and support this organization.

Along with the other non-profits we supported, the Boys and Girls Club was not an exception. Michael Baker, the new CEO, has put in a lot of effort to bring the Boys and Girls Club programs back up so that the youth of the community can benefit from the clubs.

It is always a great feeling to give back to the community and CIO was proud to take part in it.
