New Year and Christmas CelebrationParty
Dear EAS Members and Friends,
You are cordially invited to join us in a dinner party celebrating the New Year and Christmas. The celebration will include a three course served dinner and live entertainment.

We Look forward to joining us in fun this event.
Ticket prices are $65 per person for those who paid their 2015 membership dues, $75 for others.

The EAS is asking you the reserve the following dates for upcoming EAS events:
- Saturday, April 18 for the EAS Sham El-Nessim Picnic
- Saturday, June 27 for the EAS Ramadan Iftar

Rakam Kawmi ID Survey
The Egyptian Consulate in Los Angeles is surveying the Egyptians in the West to find out how many need to get a new Rakam Kawmi ID or renew an old one. If enough citizens show interest, a delegation from Cairo may come to Los Angeles to process the needed ID applications. If you desire an ID, please contact the consulate as per their letter below. The email address of the consulate is:

If an ID delegation comes from Egypt to Los Angeles and there is enough interest in the Bay Area we might be able to arrange for the delegation to come here for a day to process Bay Area ID applications.
In order to help us plan appropriately, please reply to this email indicating if you are interested in applying for a Rakam Kawmi ID.

EAS 2015 Membership Fees Are Now Due
The EAS is your organization and we urge all of you to engage in its activities. We welcome your suggestions and your help in arranging EAS events. We look forward to hearing from you.
As a dues-paying member:
- You support your organization
- You receive discounts on some events
- You can be eligible to vote on EAS matters
The 2015 membership dues are now due: $15 per person or $30 per couple. If you have not done so yet, you can pay by a check
