The EAS 2014 Ramadan Iftar

The EAS 2014 Ramadan Iftar was held last Saturday (July 19) and it was a great success.  The number of guests has reached a record number.

Many thanks to the many volunteers that worked so hard to make this event such a success. Many thanks to the CYC and to our suppliers for heir help and cooperation.  And many thanks to our guests that are at the heart of our events.

To view the highlights of the event, there is a "YouTube" video that captured that. To view the video, click   EAS 2014 Ramadan Iftar Highlights

Donations to the LONG LIVE EGYPT Initiative
 تحيا مصر

All Egyptians are encouraged to donate to the Long Live Egypt initiative to help with Egypt's economical difficulties.

Below is the letter from the Egyptian Consulate in Los Angeles on the subject, also the bank information on where to donate.

A Note Regarding Old Passports

The letter from the Egyptian consulate, shown below, advises you that effective November 24, 2015 no one will be able travel to any country without a machine readable passport.  Thus any passport where the information is written by hand can not be used after that date.  If you have a handwritten passport, you are urged to renew it as soon as possible.
