  Technology Tips
Tech Tip #1:Use Guided Access on Your Apple Device
When a child is using an iPad or iPhone, be sure to turn on Guided Access. Guided Access keeps users from errantly clicking and ending up someplace they're not supposed to be or accidentally deleting something. To turn on, go to Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Guided Access. Turn on this setting and then triple click the home button in whichever app you want to use it on. For more iPhone and iPad tips, check out this page from Buzzfeed.

Tech Tip #2: Make Flash Cards from Google Spreadsheets

Here's how to easily make digital flash cards to help students learn material by using Flippity.net. Follow the on-screen prompts to: make a copy of a provided Google Spreadsheet, and then enter your questions and answers. Publish the spreadsheet and copy the URL. Return to flippity.net, and paste the URL you copied. Click the Go button. Use the icon in the lower right corner to flip and advance the flash cards. Click the Share button to get the URL and/or a QR code for your published flippity cards.

Tech Tip #3: Do You Use Google Spreadsheets in Your Classroom?

There are some great Google Spreadsheet Formatting Tips that can be found here.
