Greetings!

Greetings. Thanks so much for using Internet4Classrooms with your students and children. Our mission is to help you find the best educational online resources available to meet your individual needs. Our monthly newsletter focuses on sharing information, tips, and ideas on everything related to schooling inside the classroom and at home. Each month we'll be featuring resources and information on a variety of topics. We are constantly upating information on our site, and urge you to visit often.

Get free summer learning activities, summer reading lists, summer lesson reviews, and more. Teachers spend on average 4-6 weeks of the new school year getting students back on track. We must keep our students thinking and challenged all year long. Look for it in June.

If you need help, please email us. We answer questions about almost any subject matter/grade level.  We feel that this is a very important part of Internet4Classrooms. Internet4Classrooms is maintained and built for educators, parents, and students and this site is yours.  Comments and suggestions are appreciated and welcomed. Don't be afraid to email and ask.

Follow us on Twitter (internet4classr). Stay up to date with offerings and new sources/links for great educational and technology information for you, your students, and children.

  Common Core State Standards

Each Grade Level is full of resources for every individual standard. Students can take control of their own learning by clicking on the page with the standard number, and choosing their own resource to practice that skill.

It's hard to find sites that have math standards examples that follow the specific criteria, but they're here. Click on your Grade Level to find Math Standard Resources and learning tools.

  App Of The Month
Every month we are going to feature a different, and hopefully FREE, iPad/iPod/iPhone educational application. Visit our ever-changing app page. (

Common Core Standards App is a great cheat sheet of information. This app has all the standards listed with detailed explanations of each section. Look up common core standards by subject and grade in one comprehensive location. Compatible with iPhone, iPod, and iPad OS 4.0 or later.
  Things To Celebrate This Month
This May we are definitely seeing a theme of Appreciation - honoring teachers, mothers, armed forces, and more. We've got a lot to cover so let's begin.

Asian Pacific American Heritage Month

Teacher Appreciation Week (5-6 - 5-10) and Teacher's Day (5-7)
Being an educator is one of the most important professions in the world, in our humble opinion. Honor our teachers all day every day with these teacher appreciation ideas.

Cinco de Mayo (5-5)
This holiday dates all the way back to the Battle of Puebla in 1862. Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in style with these projects and history lessons on this fun day.

Mother's Day (5-12)
A mother's job never ever ends. It's one of the most fulfilling yet challenging roles you will ever have. Let's remember the tireless job being a mother can be, and show her how much you care with these Mother's Day ideas you can do at school and at home.

National Transportation Week (5-13- 5-17)
Whether you prefer travel by air, water, or land, transportation is essential to our being. Scholastic offers some great early childhood transportation lessons that integrate language arts and mathematics into learning.

Biographers Day (5-16)

Memorial Day (5-27)
A holiday marked with closed businesses and barbecues, let's not forget the soldiers and families that give this day purpose and meaning. Find Memorial Day lessons, quizzes, crafts, and more.
