George Smith, D.O. (COM '74), helped evacuate 127 nursing home residents before the blast from a nearby fertilizer plant caused a roof to collapse on him last month in West, Texas. The Texas Osteopathic Medical Association (TOMA) created a relief fund for Dr. Smith, whose medical practice was also severely damaged by the explosion. Read more | Support Smith
