Annabel Beam was just five years old when she was diagnosed with two incurable, life-threatening digestive disorders. She was in constant pain for much of her childhood and spent much of her time in and out of the hospital. At one point Anna even said that she wanted to die and go to heaven.

In 2011, another tragedy struck. While Anna was climbing a tree, a branch gave way, sending Annabel falling 30 feet headfirst into a hollowed-out cottonwood tree.After several hours, an emergency fire crew managed to harness Annabel to safety and she was rushed to the hospital in a helicopter.

Incredibly, not only did Anna survive the terrible fall without injury, the symptoms of her disorders miraculously disappeared. Anna revealed that when she fell out of the tree and was unconscious, she actually visited heaven."I saw heaven and it was really bright, and I saw my Mimi who had died a couple years back," Annabel explained. "And that's how I knew I was in heaven.""I believe that I was cured because ... I asked Jesus if I could stay with him, and he said, 'No, Annabel, I have plans for you on Earth that you cannot fulfill in heaven ... Whenever I send you back, there will be nothing wrong with you,'" Anna said.

Since the accident, Anna has not been hospitalized for her digestive disorders, which has confounded doctors. Her mother shares that Anna no longer has any symptoms and is currently on zero medications.

A Walking Miracle

"I am, no kidding, a walking miracle. At least, this is what my neurologist said. He even had the pictures to prove it.

In 2015, I had a massive stroke and was rushed to the emergency room. I went into seizures (a bad sign) and my body had assumed what the doctor called the 'death posture' - head thrown back, hands cupped, and mouth open. My brain scans, taken that night in the ER, showed a massive bleed that looked like a huge, splat-shaped, Rorschach print. In my

post-op visit to my neurologist he pointed to the scan of the splat and said, "We call this configuration the 'Star of Death'." This meant there was a very little chance of my surviving. If I did make it through the night I would likely have had the conversational styling of a rutabaga and been bedridden for life. In the morning they would take me off life support, my husband would say 'goodbye', and they would let me die.

Surprise! What amazed my doctors so much was I didn't have any resulting mental or physical deficits. This was unheard of in a stroke of this magnitude. Strokes don't get any worse than this one. Fatigue and a small, dent on my head where the drain had been were the only signs that I'd been through two brain surgeries.

So what had made the difference for me? I believe it was the power of Jin Shin Jyutsu; an ancient hands-on technique to harmonize the energies in the body. I've been practicing Jin Shin Jyutsu self-help for over a decade so when the stroke occurred my body knew how to handle it. I've always believed that Jin Shin Jyutsu is like speaking to the body in the energetic language it understands. Two dear friends with whom I trade Jin Shin Jyutsu  rushed to my ICU bedside and gave me treatments. Those present in the room were amazed as they witnessed how the treatments affected me. They could also see how evident the effects were on the machines hooked up to my body. They could watch in real time how my blood pressure would drop as they worked on me. It was Jin Shin Jyutsu and whatever plans the Divine has for me that made me a true, walking miracle. As the one year anniversary since the stroke approaches I am reminded that I've been given a 'Rebirth day' of sorts. I am truly, truly grateful."

In 1986, at the age of 23, a young chiropractor, named Joe Dispenza, was participating in a triathlon when he was run over by an SUV.  Catapulted through the air only to then be hit again and dragged down the road, Joe ended up breaking 6 vertebrae which had collapsed and compressed from the impact and shattered into a large volume of bone fragments. The orthopedic surgeon recommended implanting Harrington Rods as the only possible way Joe might ever walk again.  This would mean being disabled and living with chronic pain for the rest of his life.  Alternatively, not choosing surgery would mean living with paralysis.

"Maybe I was young and bold at that time in my life, but I decided against the expert recommendations. I believe there's an intelligence, an invisible consciousness, within each of us, that is the giver of life. It supports, protects and heals us every moment. It keeps our heart beating and organizes hundreds of thousands of chemical reactions per second in each of our trillions of cells. But while I intellectually knew my body often has the capacity to heal itself, now I had to apply every bit of philosophy I knew to take that knowledge to the next level and beyond, to create a true experience with healing."

"I left the hospital and stayed at the home of two close friends to focus on my healing. I was on mission.  I began every day reconstructing my spine in my imagination, vertebrae by vertebrae. I showed this consciousness what I wanted. So for two to three hours a day I went within and began creating a picture of a totally healed spine. Finally after six weeks I began to notice some pretty significant physiological changes. At nine and half weeks after the accident, I got up and walked back into my life -without a body cast or surgeries. I started seeing patients again  and was back lifting weight in 12 weeks."

After this life changing event, Dr Joe dedicated his life to understanding spontaneous remission and has developed techniques and meditations that he shares all over the world.  Dr Joe continues to teach, research and explore how people can use the latest findings from the fields of neuroscience and quantum physics to not only heal illness but also to enjoy a more fulfilled and happy life.
