2011 Volunteer Appreciation Logo

National Volunteer Week is a time to formally recognize and  celebrate the amazing efforts and dedication of our volunteers. Beginning April 21st thru April 27th, many countries around the world send out a big THANK YOU to all volunteers. Here at A Woman's Place (AWP), National Volunteer Week presents the opportunity to thank you, and all of our volunteers, for the hours of support, commitment, and leadership you have given us throughout the year. The work that AWP accomplishes would not be possible without you.

Thinking about volunteering in your community? There are many ways to volunteer at AWP. From education to fundraising, to our thrift store or working with the people we serve, no matter what appeals to you, know that every volunteer position influences change in the world in which we live.

To All AWP volunteers, we honor, respect, and celebrate you today and every day for your courage and dediation to make it possible for all people to flourish. There is no doubt how rewarding it is to be an active part of the community. We applaud you and know that without you it is not possible!
