In 2007, the Global Assembly of the United Nations proclaimed February 20th as the World Day of Social Justice. Social Justice means equality for all people. It is grounded in the humanitarian belief that everyone should have the same freedoms and opportunities, regardless of race, gender, religion, culture, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status.

A Woman's Place (AWP) envisions a world where individuals can flourish. To achieve this goal, we believe there must be social justice for all.

To mark this global day of observance, and to help us and the world to achieve social justice for all we invite you to join AWP, to be the change, share your opinions and be heard by:

Together we can create a world where there is social justice for all and everyone flourishes!
