The 18th annual Chocolate Lovers' Fantasy is getting a makeover for 2013! This event, which is the largest annual fundraiser for A Woman's Place (AWP), the only domestic violence organization in Bucks County, Pennsylvania is commemorating its 18th year with a new date, new additions to the program, and a new theme!
This year, attendees will feel as though they have walked into Churchill Downs as we celebrate all things chocolate -Kentucky Derby style. On Saturday, April 27, 2013 put on your most dapper Derby outfit and join us at Tyler Hall on the campus of Bucks County Community College in Newtown from 6 - 11 p.m. for an evening of drinks, spectacular auction items, and a vast array of chocolate desserts. This year we are upping the ante, adding a sit-down dinner and dancing to the program.
Chocolate Lovers' Fantasy has something for everyone. The silent auction will include spa baskets, baskets for children of all ages, dining out baskets, cooking baskets, baking baskets - the list goes on and on! This year hot items on the live auction list include a week stay in a shore house in Ocean City, New Jersey, an ultimate grill package, and more! Don't forget the main attraction of the event, which is a spread of chocolate desserts donated from businesses and individuals throughout the county that ends in a dark chocolate fountain.
Between the various sponsors, donors, volunteers, and 200 anticipated attendees, this event is a true example of the strong support AWP receives from the surrounding community. Chocolate Lovers' Fantasy is a perfect date night, a fun-filled Girls' Night Out, or just a great reason to join others from the area to support an organization that provides essential support and services to victims of domestic violence, their children, and the community. We are even offering a special discount on any tickets purchased by March 29.
